Basic Policy on Information Security

NEC Fielding, Ltd. (“the Company”) regards the protection of the information assets entrusted to it by its customers and business partners and its own information assets as a solemn duty, as part of its efforts to contribute to society by providing better services and products. In view of this duty, the Company declares that it has established and implemented the following Basic Policy on Information Security (“the Basic Policy”). 

 

1.The Company establishes systems for the management of information security and strives to manage information assets appropriately.

2.The Company prepares and implements internal regulations in accordance with the Basic Policy.

3.The Company continually undertakes the necessary training to ensure information security.

4.The Company undertakes appropriate human, organizational and technological measures to prevent unlawful access to or leakage, tampering, loss, theft, destruction or obstruction from use of information assets.

5.In the event that a security problem occurs with respect to the information assets, the Company strives to investigate the cause of the problem promptly, minimize the damage caused by the problem and prevent its recurrence.

6.The Company strictly complies with all laws and regulations of Japan, policies determined by the government of Japan and other social norms regarding information security.

7.The Company continually revises the above activities to improve them.
